When I was little, I loved going to Disneyland with my parents and little sister.
It didn’t matter how many times I rode the same ride, the thrill and joy were the same. Back then the lines and prices weren’t what they are today, so let’s just skip over that part, shall we?
I waited in line with excitement and anticipation for the ride to come. The line taught me to be patient even if I was squirmy and fidgety, just ready to GO, GO, GO. I knew the fun that was waiting for me! Being in line was the way to be part of the ride, putting one foot in front of the other until I got to climb in, get seated, buckle up and take off!
What does this have to do with my leadership consulting? It is my new Disneyland!
The Joy of the Ride
I scored this priceless ticket at the beginning of 2022 after many years “waiting in line” for my time to launch. I had enjoyed a thriving corporate career for over 20 years and knew the time would come to pursue my own path. Just like Disneyland, I knew the wait would eventually lead to my destination. Clarity, courage and divine timing led to 2022 being THE YEAR.
2022 gifted me the fortunate opportunity to work with 13 brilliant clients optimizing teams and talent; consulting and coaching both on leadership and life; planning for highly productive and effective team offsites; hiring, onboarding and developing exceptional people; and creating well-designed company culture for employees to thrive. Each time I get to work with a client, it’s a joyful ride we embark on together – and one I look forward to doing again and again. I have been working with industries such as interior design, accounting and financial services, renewable energy and apparel / consumer brands.
This stage of my professional and personal journey started when I got clear and aligned on my life vision and purpose, which heightened all aspects of my world. To work with a special group of amazing people and companies, sharing my superpowers to make a positive difference; to be a long-term partner for ongoing success; to be able to work at an exceptional level at anytime from anywhere; to continue to learn and grow and help others do the same; and to be available and present for those I love.
